Just be contented with what you have

Most a times, we humans tend never to be satisfied with what we have around us or for who we are. We tend to possess this consuming 'person" within us. One that would always want more - more fortune, more parties, more holidays, more friends, more money e.t.c.

The feeling of wanting is simply a normal one. Nevertheless, it is something that only lasts for a while. It never stays permanent, although it could live long in us. But this only happens when we nurture it.

Here is the good news. I'm not writing the following part of the article because I have totally overcome the "wanting self" in me, but because it could be of help in diminishing this problem.

The good news is that the following tips could serve the purpose of curing your excessive wanting self:

- Recognize when the urge comes up: The first thing that you should do is simply to recognize when the urge just like every other turns on. Recognize it, admit to it. (Not admitting to this often leaves you with no option and therefore what happens in such situation is what happens).

 - Question Yourself: After you must have recognized "the more you" being active, you ask yourself questions such as:
     * Do I really need this?
     * If yes, what for?
     * Is it going to help my developing self?
     * Is it important or necessary ?
     * ... And more.

- Make Decisions: After taking on the step two, you make your decision.If the response is a positive one, nurture it. If not, discard it as swift as possible. Delete it off your mind and admit once more that you need it not.
